“E huli na lima i lalo,”
There is the ʻōlelo noʻeau “huli nā lima i luna, make. Huli nā lima i lalo, ola” It means , if you turn your palms up, only asking for things, you will make, die or also fail. But if you turn your palms down, as when you are working, you’ll live and succeed.
The shops moto is “E huli nā lima i lalo,” meaning turn your hands down, to work, to creating things, to any of the tasks before you, and you’ll find ola (life or success)

What would I do as a volunteer?
- Assist shop monitors in overseeing the student shop
- Assist in the training of students for Red Level.
How do I become a volunteer?
- Complete Red Level Training
- Contact Lewis Moore
- Complete one-on-one training session on shop training.
- Shadow a shop monitor for 1-2 weeks
- Pass your training test.
