LAULIMA WORKSITE

Training Levels

There are three tiers of training, each of which requires reading of comprehensive material, tutorial videos on how to safely operate equipment, testing of the material along with performing a live demonstration on how to operate the machinery with a certified trainer. Below are the following levels

1. Red
2. Yellow
3. Green

Each level will grant you a badge in which allows you access to more equipment and tools. Equipment and tools will also be color coded to help avoid any confusion. Lab monitors and certified trainers (Green Level) will be present in the shop for assistance and help when needed.

Access Permissions

Below are the hours of access that each badge grants.

Red: 10:00 – 20:00 (When Lab monitor is present in the shop)

Yellow: 10:00 – 20:00 (When a Lab monitor is present in the shop)

Green: 06:00 – Midnight

Senior Design : 06:00 – Midnight

Personal Projects

To work on your own personal projects, you must achieve the Green badge. Doing so will make you a certified trainer and shop ambassador in which you will help monitor and assist students in the shop.
