Project Manager
Creselle Morales is the project manager who is responsible for the progression of the project. She was selected to be project manager because of her experience with being a subsystem leader for another project. In her free time, she likes to eat and hang out with friends.
Peyton Young is the financial officer for UHABS-7. As the financial officer, he is responsible for budgeting the team and ensuring that funding is applied for correctly and on time. Peyton has experience in Fusion 360, Solidworks, soldering, and machinery. In his free time, Peyton enjoys surfing and playing ukulele and guitar.

Financial Officer

System Integrator
Tarah Aniya is the System Integrator for UHABS-7. As the interface manager and lead, she will be responsible for verifying that each interface of UHABS-7 is accounted for and the requirements for these interfaces are met. Tarah has previous engineering design and manufacturing experience through internships with Oceanit and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. In her free time, Tarah enjoys fishing, diving, surfing, and camping.

Sung Min Jeong is the mechanical subsystem lead for the UHABS-7 team. As a mechanical subsystem lead he will find appropriate design and shape for the recovery system. Rightful material for the water encasement and insulation will be also chosen and through testing, improvement will be made. In his free time he likes to rest and go to the beach before COVID.

Mechanical Subsystem Lead

Electrical Subsystem Lead
Gabriel Cartner is the electrical subsystem lead for the UHABS-7 team. As the lead for this subsystem he will implement all electrical components into the final design and is responsible for the overall functionality of the electrical components. In his free time Gabe enjoys SCUBA diving and running.
Zoey Akagi-Bustin is one of the ground control station leads for the UHABS-7. As a lead for the GCS, she will be responsible for working with COSMOS and monitoring the data being collected throughout the mission. Along with data collection, she will send commands out to the BalloonSat and help predict a trajectory path of the recovery vehicle. Zoey has experience in project management, Java, Arduino, Creo 3, and some previous experience in manufacturing. She is also a member of the UHM women’s golf team.

Stephen Kaopuiki is one of the Ground Control Station leads for UHABS-7. As a lead for the GCS, he will be responsible for working with COSMOS and monitoring the data being collected throughout the mission. With experience in Java, C++, MATLAB. Likes to nap in his free time.
